Directions:

Exit the I-5 freeway at Washington St.  Head west, crossing Pacific Coast Highway, straight onto MCRD.  Curve to the right on Belleau Wood.  Make a left at the stop sign onto Cuba Ave.  Building 26 will be on your left; a red sign titled, Command Museum, is out front in the grass.   Enter the building through the double doors under the American and Marine Corps flags.

Drivers must show a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance to enter MCRD.  Access to MCRD may at times be restricted due to heightened security.  All visiting groups must pre-register with the Depot G-3 office at least one week prior to visiting MCRD.  Contact (619) 524-8828.

Hours:

The MCRD Command Museum is FREE and open to the public. We are open Monday through Saturday, 8AM to 4PM, closed Sundays and Federal holidays.  Occasionally, the Command Museum is closed on Saturdays that fall next to Federal holidays on the calendar.  Please contact us to ensure that the museum is open on the day you plan to visit.  The museum gift shop is open from 8AM to 3:30PM, Monday-Friday.
